Zoe Harvey: A Future Chef with a Passion for Learning
Sixth grader Zoe dreams of becoming a chef and owning her own restaurant — a goal fueled by her curiosity, creativity, and dedication to learning. Through Odyssey, Zoe has discovered new interests, built confidence, and strengthened the academic foundation she knows she’ll need to turn her dreams into reality.

By breaking down challenging material and giving scholars the space to practice and grow, Odyssey has helped Zoe develop the confidence she carries into every classroom.
Zoe’s hard work shines brightly through her many accomplishments:
She has remained on the Principal’s List every quarter, every school year.
She has spent the last two years as a dedicated member of both her school’s Reading Bowl and Mathletes teams.
Her consistency and drive show that she’s committed not only to dreaming big — but also to doing the work it takes to get there.
Favorite Odyssey Moments That Sparked Inspiration
Among her many Odyssey memories, a few experiences stand out as especially meaningful:
Visiting the aGROWKulture Urban Farm
Zoe sampled fresh produce and learned firsthand about entrepreneurship from the youngest registered farmer in the country. Seeing someone so young operating a successful business sparked her imagination as both an aspiring chef and a future restaurant owner. She left inspired by the farm-to-table connection and the possibilities that come with hard work and creativity.
Attending the Overnight Middle School Camp
The overnight camp pushed Zoe beyond her comfort zone in the best ways. She practiced archery, zipped through the trees, and even played kickball with new friends. These adventures helped her build confidence, teamwork skills, and friendships that strengthened her sense of belonging at Odyssey.
Dreaming Forward
With her strong academic foundation, leadership experiences, and an ever-growing passion for food and entrepreneurship, Zoe is well on her way to achieving her culinary dreams. Odyssey continues to support her journey by giving her space to grow, explore, and believe in the incredible future she’s creating.
